Kathy – Office Manager
Kathy graduated from MGC Jr. College in Dental Assisting and attended University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill to complete the course work to facilitate earning her CDA status. Still, Kathy is much more than our office manager. With 44 years in this dental office building, she represents the initial welcome to all incoming patients (some for those same 44 years). She started many years ago as a certified dental assistant and has held her current position for the last 15 years. Her concern for our patients is evident in the relationships that have been formed throughout several generations of patrons. Not only does she keep the wait time down for clients, but she helps them navigate the ever-changing insurance environment; she sets up appointments both for clients and staff. Kathy also provides a sympathetic ear to all she meets and problem-solves through any emergency. She considers all those who come into the office for treatment as members of her extended family. Kathy and her husband of 31 years, Jim, have a daughter who now attends veterinary medicine school at MSU and their son works for Park University in international student studies. He and their daughter-in-law live in Parkville, Missouri. Besides her human family, Kathy’s household also includes many rescued animals (horses, dogs, and cats).
Sabrina- Dental Assistant/Infection Control Coordinator
Sabrina has been in our practice for 16 years now. Her role in our office is versatile, as she supports the front office as well as the clinical side of the office, which includes everything from ordering supplies to other infection control duties. Sabrina, like the rest of the team, takes a part in keeping our office running efficiently to meet the needs of our patients. It brings her great joy to assist Dr. Edwards as he restores confidence to his patients by creating beautiful smiles. Sabrina adores our patients. Her hobbies include camping and spending time with my family and friends. She is married and has two children: her son is eighteen and recently graduated from high school, and her daughter just turned thirteen.
Tiffany- Dental Assistant
Tiffany has been a wonderful part of our team for nearly three years. She assists in all dental procedures and is also certified in CPR; she also has a radiology permit for the State of Mississippi. Overall, Tiffany enjoys the family environment at our practice. When she’s not helping patients, Tiffany loves to spend time with her family, and go boating with them and her friends.
Angie- Dental Hygienist
For 10 years, Angie has cared for our patients with her dental hygiene education, which she received from Grand Rapids Jr. College in 1990. She helps to keep patients motivated by pointing out their improvements and educating them on where they may need to improve. Angie and our team truly care for all of our patients, and she works hard to ensure each patient gets the best treatment possible. Angie enjoys that our office works as a team, and that everyone is willing to step up and help one another. Outisde of the office, she enjoys bicycling, dancing and her newfound love, yoga. Angie met her husband while ballroom dancing, and they have been married 13 years. Their one son keeps them busy with his hobbies of sailing, playing drums, and baseball.
